General manager at Congrid Oy since September 2013

Timo Makkonen (b. 1982) is the General Manager and one of the co-founders of Congrid with proven experience of a growing company from zero to scale-up of over 2M€ revenue. Within seven years, Congrid grew as a market leader in Finland and opened the market in Sweden. Timo is an experienced leader of multidisciplinary teams with a solid focus on customer value. Before Congrid, Timo managed global weather system delivery and installation projects at Vaisala.

Timo holds a master degree of Science in Technology from Aalto University School of Science and Technology from the Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Automation.
