1987
Our story begins in 1987 in Ålesund in Norway. System Konsult AS created the first version of Cordel for shipyards, inspired by the maritime strength of the region. Over time the product evolved and today most Cordel customers work in HWS, electrical services and painting. A few of the original shipyard customers are still with us.
2017
In 2017, System Konsult AS and BransjeData AS merged into Cordel Norge AS. The parent company Cordel Norden AS was created with Valedo III AB as the main shareholder. This period marked the start of our Nordic expansion as Bygglet AB, EL‑Info i Växjö and Congrid joined the group.
2021
In early 2021, Cordel Norden AS became SmartCraft ASA. The new name better reflected our direction and the value we deliver. On June 24th, 2021, SmartCraft was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, marking an important milestone in our development.
2026
In Q1 2026, SmartCraft enters a new phase by relisting on Nasdaq Stockholm’s main market. It reflects our growing presence in Sweden and the broader Nordic region and opens the door for investors who believe in the digital transformation of construction.
Today SmartCraft is expanding beyond the Nordics while staying true to what makes us strong. Simple tools. Deep customer insight. A clear respect for the people who use our products.
The UK is becoming our most important market outside the Nordics. There is a strong need for practical and intuitive digital tools and SmartCraft fits how UK construction companies operate.
