Who we are and what we do
SmartCraft is the leading Nordic provider of software as a service (SaaS) solutions for craftsmen and the construction industry. The Group consist of 260 employees that serve over 13 300 customers from 16 offices in Norway, Sweden, Finland and the UK.

We cover a range of areas in the construction industry with our solutions. Deep knowledge about the niches we are involved in and targeted solutions to solve construction companies and craftsmen’s needs have been central to our focus. Our companies are best of breed SaaS solutions and our employees accumulate over 1000 years of experience.
Meet the Executive Management & Board of Directors
Our history reaches back to 1987 when System Konsult AS was founded in the picturesque city of Ålesund on the west coast of Norway. It’s location close to the sea lead to the first version of Cordel which was aimed at shipyards and management of their projects.
Although most of the Cordel customers today is in the Heating, Water and Sanitation (HWS), painting and electricity industry, some of the original shipyard customers are still with us.
In 2017, System Konsult AS and BransjeData AS merged after a close collaboration for many years to form Cordel Norge AS. Cordel Norden AS was created as a parent company with investment company Valedo III AB as the biggest shareholder.
In the following years the Nordic expansion began when Bygglet AB, EL-Info I Växjö and Congrid was included in the Group.
Early 2021, Cordel Norden AS changed its name to SmartCraft ASA, to better reflect who we are and what we do. With the acquisition of HomeRun and Kvalitetskontroll, as well as becoming a listed company on Oslo Børs June 24th, 2021 was an exciting and important year for SmartCraft.
